You have some very specially talented youngsters (Cinderella and the Mad Hatter were outstanding, amongst many others) and the show was professionally done in every way. The choreography was really impressive - both of us were particularly taken with the ‘Poker Face’ dance, but all of them were well put together and cleverly woven into the theme. “Dear Glenda, I really enjoyed this year’s performance. We’ve attended many over the years and I definitely thought this was one of the best. Having the Cinderella story weave its way through the show worked really well. This was certainly helped by Cinderella, who was superb. I also thought it was lovely that more of the girls were involved in the storyline. It is a huge deal for the kids to have a part in a performance like this and for the audience having more characters makes it more interesting.
I also very much enjoyed the use of more contemporary music in the hip hop/jazz sections of the show. My favourite routine was Poker Face. The wigs, the costumes, the music and the hand movements were brilliant.”
